Leasing a vehicle can be a cheaper option than purchasing one. This is for a number of reasons. First of all if you lease a vehicle then you are less likely to suffer the effects of depreciation. It is well known that cars tend to lose their value over time and this is particularly the case with new vehicles.

New cars often lose the majority of their value the minute they leave the showroom. This can mean that if you are someone that updates their car every few years then you are likely to be losing a lot of money in the process. Leasing can work out cheaper as you do not have to worry about the value of the vehicle. As a result the monthly costs are usually less than the repayments on a car loan and although you do not own the vehicle at the end of the contract you will generally pay less per month and as a result will possibly save money.

The range of vehicle available to lease are huge. There are thousands of leasing providers and each of these providers has a broad range of vehicles in their portfolio. It is therefore possible to lease any kind of vehicle that you like. All you have to do is find decide which one you would like to drive around and use the internet to find it. The best thing about the internet is that you can compare prices from a number of different companies without having to leave your desk.

This has the potential to save you a lot of money as you can choose the cheapest from the comfort of your home and make an enquiry online. Better still most of the car leasing providers provide a call back service and they will phone you to discuss your enquiry. It is a very competitive industry so it is well worth trying to negotiate with the car leasing company to find the best deal.

One of the most exciting aspects of utilising car leasing is that you can often afford to drive around a vehicle that you wouldn’t ordinarily be able to afford. The first thing to remember is that, unlike when you purchase, you do not have to pay a huge down payment. The other added bonus is that often the monthly costs often work out to be less than the costs of repaying a car loan.

This does of course mean that you do not own the car at the end of the contract but this in itself has its bonuses. With car leasing the company that you lease from remain as the owners of the vehicle. This means that at the end of the time period you can hand the car back without any further obligations. This can be a great way of avoiding the hassle of selling a car and can make life a lot less stressful.

There is a full complement of BMW vehicles available on leasing deals. Like all industries there are many different companies that provide this service. As a result it is well worth your time to check the different prices and deals available. Fortunately the internet makes this very easy. If you search around and find a reputable provider you will likely be able to find a great deal without leaving the comfort of your home. You could soon be driving around the car of your dreams!

My friend who is mad for the Honda s2000 has just rang me to say they have upgraded them for 2008 and given the engine more power than the old edition, from the external looks it looks identically the same as previous all the good work has gone under the bonnet. The Honda s2000 GT is still 28k but what a car you get, bit pricey for his budget so I suggested he go and research Honda Car Leasing

Have just heard that Ferrari have sold a special edition Ferrari FXX, only 29 models were made and they sold on online for a massive £1.9million in an online auction – £800,000 more than hand-picked customers were charged when the car was new! Famous owners of the 800bhp pumped-up Enzo include Michael Schumacher and Roman Abramovich, I wondered if they thought of Ferrari Leasing? And how much it would cost to lease a ferrari

Wow! I just got in from test driving the new Jaguar XKR. This baby had black alloy wheels and a gun metal body. It had done 9000 miles as a demonstrator for my local Jaguar garage and is up for sale at £66,000. Decisions, decisions! With a baby on the way and a more pressing need for a 7 seater, this one might be difficult to get past my wife. I will still look into the finance options though, to see how much car leasing will save me compared to finance.

Very tempting though…

Car Leasing vs Buying?

It’s a good question when faced with the choice of how to finance your next car. Car leasing is simply a lower cost, lower hassle way of getting into a car. The reason why people in the UK haven’t caught onto this yet? Not sure. Might be because of the notion about hiring a car instead of owning it i.e. people feel like they prefer to own the car. My view is this: if you’re taking out a loan to get the car, that means you don’t really own it until the debt is paid off, and then you’re left with an old car. If you leased it, you can just move out of your lease car into a new lease car every two years, and keep your payments low!

Car Leasing in the UK

Although known as auto leasing in the US, in the UK it’s known as car leasing and is experiencing a slightly different growth curve compared to the US. Car leasing in the UK is still very much seen as the province of the company car man, whilst auto leasing in the US has caught fire with “non-company car man” because he has realised that the cost per month and the hassle-factors are greatly reduced when compared to car ownership (which is usually funded by a loan, so isn’t really ownership anyway!)
